This Saturday, January 22nd will be MadCap’s two year birthday. To celebrate will be doing special little things for you all through out the day. Starting at noon we’ll be offering samples on a different brew method every hour till three. Sampling coffee from the siphon, aeropress, and cafe solo. From 3pm to 4:30pm we’ll be sampling three different single origin espressos.
Then at 5:30pm we’ll begin our in-house barista competition in preparation for the North Central Region Barista Competition that will be taking place at Navy Pier in Chicago next month. Four MadCap baristas as well as two baristas from Quixotic Coffee in St Paul, Minnesota will be competing. With sensory judges from Grand River Grocery, Alliance World Coffee, and more. Attendance to the in-house is free and open to the public.
